Project Overview

Nampa Rollerdrome is a historic roller skating rink in downtown Nampa, Idaho, serving the Treasure Valley since 1948. The goal of this project was to modernize their online presence, simplify bookings, reduce repetitive staff inquiries, and position the business for strong performance in both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search results.

The Challenge

Before the rebuild, critical information was scattered across flyers and outdated web pages. Booking links were hard to find, policies were unclear, and staff spent significant time answering the same questions about skating sessions, parties, fundraisers, and hockey leagues.

In addition, the existing site was not structured in a way that modern search engines—or AI systems—could easily understand, summarize, or surface in search results.

The client needed a website that:

My Solution

I rebuilt the website with a focus on clarity, structure, conversion, and AI readability.

Key improvements included:

• Full content restructuring for public skating, birthday parties, private parties, school fundraisers, inline hockey programs, and special events

• Clear pricing, policies, and FAQs written in plain language

• Direct booking links placed contextually where users are most likely to take action

• Mobile-first UX improvements for families browsing on phones

• A custom AI chatbot implementation designed to answer FAQs, guide users to correct booking pages, and reduce staff workload
